Recently my dad took me to the Guild. I had no idea what to expect, or who might be there. He says I have fans who want to meet me. Even better, they wanted to feed me!
Although, the entire day was a bit out of my comfort zone as a dog. You must remember that afternoons are for napping in my book. It’s about avoiding eye contact when people mention walks, especially if it is raining!
The afternoon started off with some singing, then some music, and a lot of foot tapping and arm waving where everyone did ‘exercises’ in chairs. I found the whole thing very amusing to watch.
Then it was dad’s turn to speak, but I kinda switched off then as, well, I’ve heard it all before. It’s kinda funny, but only the first time…don’t tell him I said that now….
The best thing about the day was treats. My new fans were all keen to feed me, a treat here, a treat there. It was an extremely rewarding afternoon from that angle I can tell you, my belly was full!
But here’s the thing, everyone enjoyed it too, there was lots of laughter, tea and cake.
The moral of this tail is………..Don’t get caught napping in the afternoons, you might just miss out on something fun that you never knew was happening.
