So, I have been busy since I was last here. I now go to the Transport Museum on a Tuesday, that’s fun. I’ve also been on my holiday’s again and I have a new barber. I can tell you it’s not easy being me!!
They have started something new in church, which I was invited to. It’s a thing called Doughnuts, Drinks and Discussion. I had no idea what it was going to be about, just that I was going along. So….to me that means….head scratching and treats!!!
Doughnuts….they have a nice smell, but they were not for me, sadly…this is ‘human food’ if that is even a thing.
Drinks….they offered me water, but it wasn’t quite to my taste, so I declined…. They had tea and coffee.
Discussion…… we will come back to that later
Anyway, once the tea was offered and poured and the doughnuts were out, I did a round of everyone there, so they had the opportunity to give me a good scratch and give me a pre handed out treat. It was most enjoyable.
Then came the ‘discussion’ now I must be honest to me it sounded all a bit blah blah blah and I nodded off on the floor. But they seemed to enjoy it and they were even taking about doing it all again!! So…..I better get ready for that…….pity I won’t be to my new barbers for then. I think I will just be looking like a sheep!!
The moral of this tail is……….. Sometimes you might not know what you are going along to, what it’s about, but it might just be surprising. You might think it’s all doughnuts and drinks, but the real fun is to be found in the discussion. You might have your questions answered, or something to make you think
